Post-Truth Troll-A-Thon | SF

On December 18, DARC Arts presents its first-ever Post-Truth Troll-A-Thon . In particular, participants will be invited to creatively interact with United States electors, President-elect Donald Trump, Trump Administration cabinet members, elected representatives in positions of power, and everyday conservatives.

During the Troll-A-Thon, the public is invited to join the DARC Arts community in person at Adobe Books & Arts Cooperative. There, all participants can create their troll handle on Twitter, strategize with others about the best use of their trolling skills, post content online designed to provoke and engage in light of the recent election, and provide support for others undertaking emotional labor as part of the Troll-A-Thon.

The Troll-A-Thon aims to explore radical online engagement in what is increasingly being called a “post-truth” era. While trolling methods are most often used to intimidate, shame, and silence dissenters, the Post-Truth Troll-A-Thon hopes to deploy the power of trolling in the service of empathy and humor.
