Lobos Valley Overlook | Wedemeyer St, San Francisco, CA

Event Details

Salamanders and lupines. Butterflies, oaks and bluebirds. All these and more became the close friends of Ansel Adams, famous American nature photographer and environmentalist, as he grew up playing along the shores of Lobos Creek and amongst the sand dunes of Baker Beach.

Discover Ansel’s life and some of the Presidio’s natural gems by taking part in an interactive journey through his childhood. Groups are invited to play along in this one-hour performance that takes participants back in time and through various sites in the Lobos Creek Valley.

For more information and to RSVP, please contact Jess Gambel at jgambel@presidiotrust.gov or call 415-561-2730. This day’s program is for middle school-aged kids and up.
