Brothers James and Philip Chiao, along with Kristin Wong, are excited to bring you a lively presentation based on a San Francisco newspaper reporter’s experiences and observations on a “Hell Ship” bound for Alaska in 1922. This event will provide a fascinating window on race relations and labor practices in an anti-Chinese era.
