Push The Feeling is monthly dance party happening every third Saturday at Underground SF (424 Haight St.) in the Lower Haight.

Resident DJs YR Skull and epicsauce invite local and out-of-town guest DJs to their decks every month.

The party is typically free before 10 pm with an RSVP, and $6 after, but some nights may cost more depending on the headliner.

Loose Shus | CANCELED: Push The Feeling DJ Night | Lower Haight

Push The Feeling celebrates the self titled EP release by Loose Shus with a live performance, along with The Beat Broker, Hotthobo, YR SKULL, and epicsauce DJs.

Free before 10 pm with an RSVP; otherwise, it’s $6.

• Loose Shus (Live • Voltaire Records)
  Two years in the making, San Francisco’s own Loose Shus self-titled EP (released 1/21 on Voltaire Records) combines modern funk, cosmic disco, and experimental synth boogie to create a unique sound all his own. The instruments used span three decades: from the 80s, he used the Oberheim DX, Akai Ax60, Yamaha TX81z, to the 90s Roland JX-305, and onto present day software. To celebrate the release, Loose Shus will hit the Push The Feeling stage for a rare live set, complete with original projected animations created by the artist himself.
• The Beat Broker (DJ Set • Bear Funk)
  The Beat Broker (aka San Francisco local Ryan Bishop) makes synth-heavy, cosmic disco reminiscent of Giorgio Moroder’s most forward thinking work (see: From Here to Eternity and E=MC²). His steady stream of 12″ singles and remixes (L’Equipe du Son, Jonas Reinhardt, Shock, Marbeya Sound etc …) have long been favorites of disco-minded DJs and his 2013 release “Limited Time” received accolades from the like of XLR8R, The Bay Bridged and more.
