Guilty! Quiet Lightning is partially responsible for the current resurgence in the Bay Area’s literary arts scene (at least the New York Times said so).
This event is a series of readers, just reeling off, on after another. Just art after art after art. It’s cheap. It’s in a different venue every month.
We’ve got poetry, prose, monologues, performance, journal entries, fragments of thought… with no intros so it’s just: BAM, BAM, BAM:
SET ONE: Siamak Vossoughi | Graham Gremore | Jesus Castillo | Deborah Steinberg | Clive Matson | Michael Palmer | Steven Gray | Evan Karp | Chris Cole
SET TWO: Timothy Walker | Lauren Hamlin | Josey Duncan | Rajshree Chauhan | Dean Rader | Paul Corman-Roberts | Gael Alcock
It’s completely submission-based, and we publish a book of the accepted submissions every month.
Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
