Event Details

During the special week between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, only a few days into the new year, we will gather and devote time to thinking, singing, sharing, writing and meditation. International touring Jewish music artist and spiritual leader, Saul Kaye, will take us on a journey to enter Yom Kippur mindfully, whether we observe it in the traditional way or not. We will go deeper into the melodies of the day and experience each other’s presence as a container to mark Jewish time.

Saul Kaye is an international touring Jewish music artist and a spiritual leader. Originally known as the “Pioneer of Jewish Blues,” Saul is bringing something new to modern Jewish music and bridging the gap between the Delta and the Torah. Through beautiful music and an amazing ability to read the energy of the room, he has helped to bring many people to the Shabbat experience who otherwise had not found their connection to Judaism.

He has released 10 CDs of his own and produced eight for other artists. Saul Recently released his third book entitled This Gift. The book explores the deeply personal journeys of 15 Jewish music artists at the top of their field. He plays concerts, performs artist-in-residence weekends in Jewish communities, and leads workshops internationally.

Presented by The Oshman Family JCC
