RightsFest brings viewers Pilgrimage. An official selection of the Sundance Film Festival, Pilgrimage is about the roots and lasting significance of a community’s annual journey to Manzanar, one of ten WWII incarceration camps for Japanese Americans.
Confirmed panelist: director Tadashi Nakamura.
Thursday’s lineup also includes the 35-minute version of this year’s American Experience feature, Freedom Riders, released on the 50th anniversary of the 1961 movement against bus segregation in the American South.
