The top-performing groups of the San Francisco Boys Chorus return to in-person performances in Berkeley this December 17. Live performance of holiday chorus music featuring Johann Sebastian Bach’s well-beloved Cantata 147: Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben, with the familiar chorus commonly known as “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring,” as well as Vaughan Williams’ celebrated Fantasia on Christmas Carols.
Guest Soloists: Jennifer Paulino, soprano; Alexa Rosenberg, mezzo; Alex Taite, tenor; Harlan Hays, baritone.
These works offer hope and joy as we celebrate the return of live choral music. The Chorus Handbell Ensemble will also perform. Please join us in welcoming the San Francisco Boys Chorus back to the stage!
This Friday, December 17th, 2021 evening concert has 2 times to choose from 5:30 pm or 7:30 pm. Seating capacity is reduced due to safety precautions. Buy tickets early online.
