San Francisco Green Film Festival
Visit this interactive artwork and create new words for feelings and experiences for which you wish there was a word. Themes we’ll explore include the many definitions of Home, especially as it relates to today’s climate crisis and the Anthropocene.
Founded in 2014 by San Francisco Artists Heidi Quante & Alicia Escott, The Bureau of Linguistical Reality is an interactive artwork that collaborates with the public to create new words for feelings, experiences and phenomena related to climate change and other Anthropogenic events for which no words yet exist. The Bureau has collaborated with the public in Paris during the 21st U.N Climate Change talks, communities in the Rockaways facing sea level rise and globally.
