The SF International Flor y Canto Literary Festival June 20-22, 2025 – 3 days, 18 free events, in the mission
Flor y Canto was started in 2008 by San Francisco’s first Latino poet laureate, Alejandro Murguía, to celebrate La Misión’s deep literary roots and to invite poets from around the world into our vibrant neighborhood. For three unforgettable days, literature spills into the streets—from opening invocations in Balmy Alley to poetry readings on Calle Veinte Cuatro and inside beloved local businesses.
