UPDATE: This year’s festivities have been postponed.
The 2020 San Francisco Saint Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival has been postponed. The permits for the Parade and the Festival—both scheduled for Saturday, March 14th, 2020—were canceled by the City and County of San Francisco on Friday, March 6th, 2020, as part of a series of measures designed to reduce the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Don’t miss the West Coast’s largest Irish event celebrating Irish history and culture.
The 169th annual San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade will start at the corner of Market and Second Streets where over a hundred colorful floats, Irish dance troupes and marching bands will wind their way to Civic Center Plaza.

Saturday, March 14, 2020 | 10 am to 5 pm
Parade starts at 2nd & Market & ends at Civic Center Plaza

- 9 am at St. Patrick’s Church 756 Mission St. at 4th
>St. Patrick’s Day Parade
- 11:30 am at 2nd and Market St to Civic Center
- 10:00 am: Festival Begins
- 11:30 am: Parade Begins (Second & Market)
- 1:30 pm: Parade Ends (Civic Center)
- 5:00 pm: Festival Ends
