Fresh off the introduction of S. 1804, the Medicare for All Act of 2017, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders will address the theme in a public speech Friday, September 22, 2017 in San Francisco, hosted by California Nurses Association/NNOC/NNU.

Where: Yerba Buena Gardens, Esplanade on Mission Street, between 3rd and 4th Streets, San Francisco.The program opens at 12:30 p.m. with a special performance the John Santos Quartet, with guests Destani Wolf, Rico Pabon and Pedro Pastrana.

S 1804 has already made history with its co-sponsorship by one-third of the Senate Democratic Caucus, a direct reflection, say nurses, of the growing momentum for Medicare for all, sparked by the Sanders 2016 Presidential campaign, and a an activist mass movement, including the work of CNA/NNOC members.
