For Thelonious Monk’s 101st birthday, we celebrate a true jazz icon with three of our Bay Area’s finest piano masters and share the legacy of Monk’s timeless compositions.

Stalwarts Tammy Hall, Matt Clark, and Maya Kronfeld highlight the playful as well as a complex repertoire of this giant of jazz and remind us that Thelonious Monk was truly ahead of his time. An hour matinee features live performance, audience participation, Q&A, and amazing music.
