Join editors and publishers from the city’s leading independent news outlets for a discussion about why their work is essential.
The COVID-19 pandemic has decimated the bottom lines of the city’s news publishers yet their work is now more important than ever. Please join us for a discussion among the editors and publishers of the city’s leading independent news outlets about the critical importance.
Panelists:
- 48 Hills Publisher Marke Bieschke
- San Francisco Bay View Editor Malik Washington
- Mission Local Executive Editor Lydia Chavez
- Bay Area Reporter Publisher Michael Yamashita
The discussion, part of a series to support the San Francisco Independent Press Association’s Save SF News fundraiser, will be moderated by Ingleside Light publisher and fundraiser organizer Alex Mullaney.
You have until midnight to donate to our fundraising campaign. Thank you to all who have supported us so far for your generosity. Please consider donating at www.savesfnews.com and follow the San Francisco Independent Press Association on Twitter @SFIndiePress.
