SF’s New Neighborhood “Mural Day” (Sept. 16)

We encourage neighbors to join us in San Francisco’s Silver Terrace neighborhood to paint the beautiful mural you see above.

Community members will be painting the yellow/orange background of the mural and later, artist Liv Losee-Unger, will be adding the floral and butterfly elements to the wall.

This mural is the first step to beatifying and improving safety at Ledyard Alley. After these paint days, community members will have an opportunity to join another event where they can provide input on other design elements in the alley (resurfacing, new planting beds, replacing chain link fencing, solar lighting, etc..).

Please note this event is now a one-day event on 9/16/23
