Presidio Free Programs: Talks, Music & Performances | SF

San Francisco’s tradition of diverse cultural expression started at the Presidio, and continues today with events that enlighten, engage, and entertain, taking place at the Presidio Officers’ Club.

Enjoy topical discussions, live music, dance, and interactive family activities, all free to the public and sponsored by the Presidio Trust, in partnership with cultural institutions from across the Bay Area.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival Resident Artists perform a selection of Shakespeare’s best-loved sonnets, accompanied by the scandalous story of Shakespeare’s great love affairs.

Free, but RSVP is required to sfshakes@sfshakes.org.

This special program will be narrated by Artistic Director Rebecca J. Ennals. Audience members are invited to bring your favorite Shakespeare sonnet for an open mic opportunity at the close of the evening. This event is geard toward adults and older teens.
