Sharktoberfest returns to NightLife, celebrating two perennial favorites again this year: sharks and beer!

Taste your way through the beer garden in African Hall, featuring brews from local favorites like Speakeasy, Lagunitas, Trumer Pilsner, 21st Amendment, Bear Republic, and others. On the shark front, meet renowned shark expert and Academy curator John McCosker at the Project Lab, where he’ll be sharing some of his favorite shark specimens with the crowd.

Plus, test your knowledge with shark trivia by Sea Stewards and take in a sharky edition of Earth Update in the planetarium at 6:30 featuring David McGuire of Sea Stewards, followed by two showings of Life: A Cosmic Story. Music by Opulent Temple.

• Thursdays, from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
• Tickets are $12 ($10 for Academy members). Last entry is 9:00 pm.
• 21+ with Valid ID.
