Located near the San Jose downtown, the Alameda Artworks is a collective of artists boasting a dynamic array of media and styles promising something to capture every visitor’s imagination. Over 30 artists will open their doors, offering from the traditional fine arts to new and mixed media. Works include sculptures made from steel, found materials, felt, and fleece; porcelain ceramic vases and jars, paintings and pastel drawings of local landscapes and seascapes; oil paintings of wildlife; textiles, glass and mosaic artworks, jewelry and more. Much of the artwork on display is for sale, including small artworks, prints, wearable art, home decor, and note cards.
The event is family-friendly, wheelchair accessible, and conveniently located near public transit,
with bike racks out front and free parking behind the Recycle Bookstore. Come join us in
celebrating creativity, community, and the power of art to inspire and connect us all.
