(San Francisco, CA — November 1, 2025) — The Clift Royal Sonesta Hotel San Francisco is delighted to announce the Sip & Shop Pre-Holiday Soirée, a chic two-day shopping event taking place November 14 (3:00–8:00 PM) and November 15 (3:00–8:00 PM), 2025.

Guests will enjoy a curated showcase of local artists, designers, and upscale vendors, alongside Union Square retailers, creating an elevated holiday shopping experience. Set against the backdrop of The Clift’s legendary Redwood Room, attendees can sip signature cocktails, savor seasonal bites, and discover unique treasures just in time for the holidays.

Redwood Room Specialty Cocktails

Coinciding with the launch of The Clift’s new Monthly Speaker Series, the Redwood Room will spotlight specialty cocktails inspired by San Francisco’s colorful past and the hotel’s “Making History Fun Again” campaign. Each libation tells a story, blending heritage with modern craft:

• Pisco Punch – A Gold Rush classic first poured at the Bank Exchange in 1853, with Caravedo Pisco, pineapple syrup, fresh lime, and Peychaud’s. 
• Martini – Believed to have been born along the Gold Rush trail from San Francisco to Martinez, reimagined here with St. George Terroir Gin, Dolin Dry Vermouth, and a lemon twist. 
• Night Moves – A Buena Vista–inspired espresso martini made with Tullamore Dew whiskey, Averna, and Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur. 
• Maiden Lane – A tribute to one of San Francisco’s most storied streets, crafted with Three Roll Brazilian Rum, Aperol, orgeat, and lime.
