Event Details

Sleazoid’s Comedy Grindhouse happens in the dark and cozy basement of Thrillhouse Records located in the Mission District (30th and Mission St.).

The night is a homage to the “Grindhouse Theatre” featuring two shows for the price of one which are donation based. Sleazoid begins with a night of stand-up comedy with comedians from all around the country who slum it in the Mission’s favorite punk rock D.I.Y. space, Thrillhouse Records. The second show of the night features an B-movie (Exploitation or a theme) that they know you’ll love or hate or not pay attention to at all, you sleazy bastards.

Sleazoid Comedy Grindhouse presents a night of Comedy and B-Cinema with:

  • Richard Toomer
  • Chad Opitz
  • Jessica Sele
  • Hosted by: Luigi Díaz & Geoff Decarlo

Night’s film: Carnival of Souls (1962)

The show ends by 11:30 pm giving you time to enjoy the show and then catch BART or MUNI, or do whatever you please…it’s your night. The show is all ages but know that there’s material that might not be suited for all ages, so discretion is advised. Unfortunately, they are not wheelchair accessible.

About the Booze: There’s a Safeway Store three doors down from Thrillhouse Records, or if you are walking from 24th st. BART, it is to your right before Thrillhouse. You can buy your booze of choice and bring it on with you if that seem easier to do. And of course they’ll have free water for the homies.
