Come Together in Joy

There are some heartbreaking things going on in our country and around the world right now. We’re coping the best way we know how:

• By leaning into our community for support
• By leaning into our joy (joy can be an act of resistance!)
• By celebrating the tremendous bounty the Earth provides so generously (perfect for the summer solstice!)
• And by inviting us all to imagine a positive vision of a future world! We can build it if we can’t imagine it.

The solstice is a time to celebrate the sun, sunlight, warmth, and heat. We celebrate the longest day of the year. We celebrate the origin of life, we honor photosynthesis and the solar biosphere, the cyclical nature of our earth, and we dance to a circadian rhythm.

• All proceeds will go to creating more Solarpunk art for both on and off the Playa, art designed to inspire a beautiful, regenerated, and liberated future.

Solarpunk gives us hope. It invites each and every one of us to dream of a better future where all humanity, especially those historically marginalized, and the Earth thrive in harmony and where we respect and give thanks to the planet that has so generously given us a home — instead of plundering its natural resources in the pursuit of profits.

Solarpunk is a heartfelt art movement that acknowledges that our society is on a destructive path. It resists the powerful corporations and politicians quickly depleting our planet’s natural resources and their use of capitalism, consumerism, and racism/sexism to distract us from what’s going on. Solarpunk provides a vision for an equitable future where no humans are subjugated because of their origins, beliefs, sexual preferences, etc.

DRINKS – Airpusher’s Solarpunk Solstice Bar

At the core of Solarpunk we embrace living joyously, celebrating wholeheartedly, all while honoring our deep connection with life. For our bar menu on this Solstice, this has inspired us to create new drink experiences outside of the traditional, alcohol-centric festival options. We’re talking about healthful and uplifting drinks, drinks that will enliven your body and awaken your soul! Original drinks crafted from fresh ingredients that promote regenerative agriculture, organic farming, bio-dynamic farming, carbon sequestration, and soil health.

Our menu will include three hand crafted drink specials you won’t find anywhere else, inducing “Calm Mojito”, “Electric Ginseng Paloma”, and “Pear Pu-erh Kombucha”. We’ll have some life-affirming alcoholic options as well, including bio-dynamic wine and solar-powered beer!

FOOD – All Pau Berkeley

We’re thrilled to welcome All Pau Berkeley! Ono inspired by Ohana🥭️We are a food pop up created from love of Hawaii and the spirit of Ohana. We cook pan-Asian flavors that remind us of home. Chef Lily Rockholt will be serving some seasonal sensations from skewers, to onigiri, to some light sweet treats all made fresh and primarily from local sources.

Remember, we’re doing our very best to make this ZERO WASTE event, so we will not be providing disposable cups. Bring a cup! We’ll also have super cool Solarpunk Solstice commemorative cups for purchase.

Airpusher Consent & Safe Spaces Policies & Values

We strive for Airpusher events to inspire open hearted joy, radical self expression, and deep community connection. To manifest this intention we are committed to ensuring that every one of our guests feels safe and empowered to be their authentic selves, and are free from any kind of harassment, abuse, or discrimination of any type. This is especially true for non-consentual interactions, including sexual harassment.

We Practice Consent – Practice clear communication and ask for consent to understand another’s desires and boundaries. This means:

• Clearly and politely ask another before engaging with them
• Wait for an enthusiastic verbalized “YES”! If this is not received, then the answer is “No”.
• Make space to hear any kind of “No” and receive it with gratitude. Do not ask again.

No Sexual Harassment – We have zero tolerance for sexual harassment* of any type. This means:

• No unwanted touching or invading personal space
• No unwanted staring or sexually objectifying acts
• No unwanted conversations

* We have zero tolerance for other types of harassment and discrimination as well, including, but not limited to: racism, ageism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and prejudice based on ethnicity, nationality, class, gender, gender presentation, language ability, body type, asylum status, spiritual practices, or religious affiliation.

Reporting Incidents – We encourage our guests to report any incident of harassment. We take reporting incidents seriously.

• All venue staff, event staff, and/or members of the Airpusher Safety Team (in white vests) are ready help with any incident report
• We take the reports seriously of those who have been harmed and will prioritize their safety and care
• The perpetrators of any kind of harassment will be asked to leave immediately. If they would like to dispute the claim, we will take their information for a follow-up at a later date.

Harm Reduction & Physical Safety –  Verbal abuse and physical violence are not tolerated at Airpusher events. We center the process around the protection and care for those who have been harmed.

• We have a Safe Space zone at all of our events that is open to anyone in need, any incidents can be reported there.
• Attendees are encouraged to reach out to AP safety lead if there are any threats of violence or erratic behavior from other attendees.
• Report any concerns of safety having to do with the venue site – building codes, etc.
• Attendees can seek out the AP safety team at the Safe Space or elsewhere for any minor injuries or if anyone is having a health event.
