Husband and wife duo, Gold and Gray, are Calli Dollinger and Clifton Bonner. With a twenty year age difference between them, the music of Gold and Gray spans many eras and genres.
Singer/songwriter Calli Dollinger draws from her childhood memories in Austin, Texas where she grew up with a single mother who curated a steady soundtrack of musical matriarchs like Lucinda Williams, Janis Joplin, Madonna, Tori Amos, and Joni Mitchell.
Bonner’s playing style is the product of a primarily straight jazz background, but nine years of playing bossanova and Afro-beat in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico also influence the almost cinematic lines he contributes.
