“Sports For the Masses” Artist Reception | Mission

Artist in Residence at CELLspace Marta Solomianko will show work from her 4 month residency in an exhibition titled, Sports For the Masses which opens for a one night installation at 7 p.m. Saturday, September 24.

Her work addresses suburban development, the American dream, and women’s roles in mass culture. Solomianko’s use of obsessive repetition serves to increase and exaggerate the absurdity she sees in life.
