Celebrate Independence Day on July 4 in downtown Stockton with friends and family. Weber Point Events Center will open to the public on July 4, 2024, for the community to celebrate and gather for a day full of festivities and free viewing of the fireworks show along the downtown waterfront.
- The 4th of July parade, hosted by United Veterans Council of San Joaquin County, begins at 11:00 a.m.
- Gates to the Weber Point Events Center will open at Noon, after the parade.
- The fireworks show is expected to begin at approximately 9:30 p.m., following the Stockton Ports game.
- The fireworks show will last about 20 minutes, and Weber Point Events Center will close immediately following the fireworks.

The fireworks show is expected to begin at approximately 9:30 p.m., following the Stockton Ports game. The fireworks show will last about 20 minutes, and Weber Point Events Center will close immediately following the fireworks. Artisanal food vendors and an array of food trucks will be on-site to entice every palate. For more family fun, there will be activities for kids, including inflatable slides, face painting, and the Weber Point Events Center water feature will be available for all to enjoy. Live performances by Ballet Folklorico Dance and the Latin Magic Band will get everyone up on their feet to dance the night away. Bring towels, blankets and lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the celebration.
To ensure a family-friendly and safe environment, hard top coolers, alcohol, glass containers, bottles, personal fireworks and pets will not be permitted in the park. Smoking is prohibited. Event security and law enforcement personnel will uphold all restrictions. The Weber Point Events Center parking lot will be reserved for vendors and will not be available for event parking. Parking for those attending the Fourth of July event will be on-street or in City lots; parking fees apply in City lots. All posted parking limitations and restrictions will apply.
