Sundays in Kerouac Alley | North Beach
Sundays in Kerouac Alley is a series of free readings and discussions by some of San Francisco’s premier literary organizations like ZYZZYVA, Sister Spit, and Quiet Lightening. The events are presented as part of the City Lights 60th Anniversary series.
San Francisco’s City Lights is perhaps one of the most well known bookstores in the country, if not the world. It was fertile ground for the Beat Generation and continues to serve as the cornerstone of the city’s literary community.
The premier literary journal of the left coast, ZYZZYVA continues its mission of fostering culture, publishing the region’s best writers and artists, and being an engaged member of the Bay Area’s literary community. Join Laura Cogan & Oscar Villalon as they host writers featured in the fall 2013 issue.
