SUPERB, the Student Union Program, Entertainment, and Recreation Board, is a student-run, non-profit organization dedicated to providing entertainment including free concerts, film series, comedy shows, trivia game nights and Q&A panels with today’s most prominent entrepreneurs and artists of the media and entertainment industry for the UC Berkeley campus and community.
Midterm season is in full swing but that doesn’t mean you don’t have time to reflect on your time at UC Berkeley while also listening to some great music. Vic Mensa will be rolling through Berkeley to host a Q&A by the students and for the students. With Free Speech Week just behind you, what better time to come together to figure out what identity, free speech, and the Berkeley community mean to us. Stick around after the Q&A for a poppin’ performance by Vic Mensa to close out the evening: A perfect mix of education and entertainment. Don’t miss it.
Victor Mensah is a Chicago-native rapper signed to Roc Nation. He frequently collaborates with Chance the Rapper and has also gotten features from the likes of Kanye West (U Mad), Pharrell Williams (Wings), and Ty Dolla $ign (We Could Be Free). He released his debut album The Autobiography just this past July, to which Pitchfork claimed, “The Autobiography gathers up all his charms, including his most compelling case as a genre-agnostic vocalist.” You can also catch him on his upcoming tour with JAY-Z.
