Event Details

Flirting with the idea of getting (or finally getting around to using) an eReader? Yeah, we were pretty terrified of them too, until we discovered that the folks at Green Apple can sell Google eBooks and continue to provide for all of their customers’ reading needs, digital or otherwise, and still fight the good fight to remain a thriving local business. So they’re hosting some techie friends from Google at 5PM on June 8th for what they are fondly calling a “technology petting zoo” — an opportunity for you to come learn how to buy eBooks from Green Apple and read them on any ereader (except for the Amazon Kindle).

What Green Apple will provide: eReaders and tablets for you to check out, smart people who know how to use them, and refreshments.

What you’ll do: Just show up, check out your ebook options, maybe buy one, maybe not. Steadfastly dedicated to real books but know a friend who’s gone all digital? Bring the friend, leave ’em at the “zoo” and roam the bookstore. It’s a win-win.
