“The Salt of the Earth” documents the life and work of Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado and his travels around the world in the footsteps of an ever-changing humanity. This Academy Award-nominated film captures Salgado as a witness to deprived societies in hidden corners of the globe.
“The Salt Of the Earth” rejects despair with a turnabout so fundamental as to be startling, but with evidence of rebirth too eloquent to ignore.” – Joe Morgenstern, The Wall Street Journal.
