Trash Pick Up + Free Community Lunch & Coffee (SF)

In partnership with Refuse Refuse, CivicJoyFund.org is funding coffee and communal meals at hosting restaurants in 10 San Francisco neighborhoods, enabling weekly volunteers to eat and drink together, in order to foster community while keeping streets clean and helping corridors look and feel the way they should. CleanUpTheCity is made up of San Franciscans taking action to build community, beautify our public spaces, and improve our beloved city! These trash pick-ups are one of the best opportunities out there to meet neighbors who care about their city, just like you!

This initiative is one of the Civic Joy Fund’s five new citywide projects to help jumpstart the City’s economic recovery while supporting the artists, musicians, community heroes, and small business owners who make San Francisco the special place that it is today.

The Civic Joy Fund is a new multi-million dollar philanthropic project from the Civic Space Foundation that was created to address years of economic hardship in SF as well as a slow recovery from the pandemic that many small business owners and entertainers continue to combat to this very day.
