Event Details

Does building bicycling infrastructure actually encourage more people to bike?

San Francisco Bicycle Coalition advocacy director Janice Li will moderate this talk to discuss how we can build infrastructure and develop programs that encourage people to bike.

Panelists:

Manoj Madhavan, Director of Transportation Demand Management at the Golden State Warriors
Audrey Harris, Transportation Demand Management Program Manager at the City and County of San Francisco

Both Audrey Harris and Manoj Madhavan serve on the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition Board of Directors and lead successful careers in urban planning, especially as it relates to land use and transportation. Learn about how development impacts transportation, what transportation demand management (TDM) is and how TDM programs can encourage more people to bike, walk and take transit.
