The African American Art & Culture Complex (AAACC) will host its annual special MLK Day of Service with complimentary breakfast and lunch for volunteers, plus performances from the AAACC youth programs.

Host sites in the Western Addition include AAACC, Buchanan Mall, Ella Hill Hutch, Koshland Gardens and the Rosa Parks Senior Center. Volunteer opportunities will include garden projects, feeding senior citizens, graffiti removal and site clean-up in parks and streets.

Monday, January 20, 2014 | 9 am to 1 pm
African American Art & Culture Complex, 762 Fulton Street, San Francisco
FREEFrom 12:30-1 pm featured youth programs will perform dance, singing and spoken word. Brandon Hughes will do a MLK tribute poem and there will be a greeting from the District Supervisor.
Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be served to participating volunteers.
