The historic World War II Liberty ship, the S.S. Jeremiah O’Brien, hosts a dockside 2025 fireworks display viewing party from 7 pm to 10:30 pm when the fireworks are set off on July 4, 2025.

Experience the Fourth of July like never before aboard the SS Jeremiah O’Brien, one of the last surviving Liberty ships from World War II.

Celebrate 249 years of American independence with front-row views of San Francisco’s spectacular fireworks show, seen at its best and brightest from the deck of this historic vessel. Enjoy an unforgettable evening filled with patriotic spirit, maritime history, and breathtaking views of the Bay. Whether you’re a history enthusiast or simply looking for a unique way to mark the holiday, join us for a celebration that honors both our nation’s birth and the heroes who defended its freedom.

This ship is docked just behind Fisherman’s Wharf and will probably be one of the best places to view the fireworks show. Please note the ship will be docked the entire time.
