Due to Stormy weather across Florida’s Space Coast the event and live coverage of the countdown that was originally scheduled May 27 was moved to start May 30 at 8:00 am pst.
The launch is scheduled for 12:22 pm pacific on Saturday, subject to weather.
Starting at 8am Pacific on Saturday, May 30, NASA and SpaceX will provide coverage of launch activities, airing on NASA TV and the agency’s website. This will include live shots of Behnken and Hurley as they put on their spacesuits, their arrival at historic Launch Complex 39A and liftoff of the Falcon 9 rocket. Coverage will continue through Crew Dragon’s docking to the space station, scheduled for 7:29 a.m. PDT on Sunday, May 31.
Watch history unfold as NASA and SpaceX launch astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley to the ISS on Saturday, May 30. This mission marks the first time since the retirement of the space shuttle in 2011 that humans will fly to the space station from U.S. soil.
Set a reminder to tune for joint NASA/SpaceX coverage starting at 8:00 am PST, with liftoff currently targeted for 12:22 pm PST.
