Every year, the Monte Rio beach is crowded with people who come from all over to enjoy the spectacle of fireworks over the Russian River along with a Water Boat Parade & Carnival, “Water Curtain” and fireworks starting at dusk.

Dusk: Water Carnival Boat Parade (last year, it began at around 8:45 pm, we expect it to be the same this year)A float parade on the river, as well as the famous Monte Rio “Water Curtain,” begins at dusk. Beautiful and patriotic images are shown on a curtain of water flowing from the Monte Rio bridge followed by fireworks.
