49ers Super Bowl Block Party & BBQ | Mission Dist.

Harrison Street | Harrison Street and 24th Street, San Francisco, CA
Submitted by the Event Organizer
Get ready for a 49er Super Bowl Block Party on Harrison Street between 24th & 25th Street around 3 pm on February 3, 2013. A faithful bunch from the SF Lowrider council will be setting up BBQ pits and flat screens set up in the street to watch the game, – you just have to bring your own chairs.
From our understanding BBQ pits will be provided, but it’s potluck so bring your hot dogs, burgers, carne asada, and side dishes or dessert to share with everyone.
49ers Super Bowl Block Party
Sunday, February 3, 2013 (3p, but may start earlier)
Harrison Street between 24th & 25th, Mission Dist.
FREE, but it’s a potluck – bring great stuff to share
Who’s Invited?
Please note, this is a neighborhood block party for locals and lowriders, not a big city-sponsored event, so they probably can’t handle large crowds. But if you’re up for watching the game with lots of 49er faithful, come wearing your gear and you bring awesome dishes or desserts to share (not just a $2 bag of tortilla chips), you might be welcomed with open arms and have the Super Bowl Sunday of your life.
Post-Game Lowrider Parade
As a bonus, after the game (win or lose) there will also be a lowrider cruise down 24th Street featuring cars all decked out for the 49ers. The cruise route is subject to serious change… never know what happens after a Super Bowl!
