Dear Non-Binary + Women + Queer individuals who hold woman or femme as part of their identity,
We invite practitioners who work with medicines or aid with psychedelic preparation and integration, as well as those who have apprenticed or studied work with non-ordinary states of consciousness or are engaged in learning or experiencing their own psychedelic healing to come connect with us! Whether you are credentialed, licensed, trained as a coach, energy worker, MD or Therapist working with Ketamine, or identify as an underground or Indigenous healer, your voice is needed.
To our community members who identify as BIPOC, Neurodivergent, or Queer and those who have immigrated…a special invite to please join us.
We’ll be gathering for a casual, unstructured meet and greet and potluck under the Redwoods.
Please bring a dish to share. There is no access to electricity at this site, so we are unable to heat or cool dishes. (Thermos or temperature holding containers are encouraged.)
November 6th from 12-3 PM
RSVPs close after November 3rd. All attendees must be registered for a ticket on or before November 3rd. This will help us cover costs, form a head count, and in the event of the need to contact trace.
Tickets are $13 to cover the cost of space rental and supplies. Sliding scale tickets are available so reach out if the ticket price poses a barrier (no need to explain why)…we truly want you to join us! If costs are covered, any profit from the event will be used to fund sliding scale tickets for the next event (a Ketamine experiential: date TBD co-created with Dr. Alya Ahmad & Dr. Tasnim Khan).
Location: Roberts Regional Recreation Area in Oakland. Registered attendees will be provided with specific directions to our location.
There is a short walking hike to the site with some hills and dirt terrain. If you have physical limitations and a short walk through the redwoods poses a barrier, please let one of the organizers know 1 week prior to the event as the park will allow vehicle access to the site with permit.
ON SAFETY…
Tune into your inner guidance surrounding whether to join us for this event with the current COVID-related concerns. As we know, COVID-19, is contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact.
For those who join us, please verbalize your boundaries with others and honor your safety needs and those of the group. Plan to bring a mask in case it is needed. If COVID continues to spread and in-person gatherings are recommended against, the event will be cancelled via email (through eventbrite) and the ticket fee will be refunded.
As we connect, please use care when considering your safety and the safety of our community. You are kindly asked to refrain from joining us if you have been sick or have been around someone sick recently.
This event will be held in a large outdoor space so there will be plenty of room to spread out. There are picnic tables and you are also welcome to bring a blanket or folding chair if you would like additional space. The site is partially shaded by the redwoods but there is still some exposure to the sun and wind. You may want to wear layers, consider sunscreen or other sun protection, and wear comfortable shoes for the walk to the site.
Volunteer support is welcome and cherished! Please let us know if you’d like to offer support with set up or clean up, check-in and assisting with orientation to the space, carpooling…or more.
Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
