Event Details

Partnering with AAUW is the California History Center of De Anza College. Writer/teacher Mary Jo Ignoffo will be the feature speaker.

Ms. Ignoffo invites you to hear about some women authors, of both fiction and non-fiction whose works have illuminated specific periods of American history.

She will recommend making your own list of favorite historical writers. Such a list often reveals at least as much about the reader as the writer. It can be an excursion into the heart and soul, leading one to explore ever widening horizons. These images and characters linger in the imagination and bring greater insight and understanding of a specific time and place.
