John Cale and Brian Eno try to make a record in Amsterdam, Moscow, Wales and London. Nilsson tries to make a film about it. Will they succeed?

Music documentary in which Brian Eno accompanies composer John Cale to Moscow to oversee the recording of the latter’s orchestral setting of Dylan Thomas poems. Later John cale returns to Wales to the valleys, to visit his childhood home and his ailing mother.
