Every first Friday, WorkshopSF hosts an open house / party with DIY, art, fun and community. It’s a chance to preview classes, see the space, and just hang out with neighborhood peeps! We welcome all, and our activities are all low cost or free / donation-based (Cash Only).
For our March First Friday, learn the basics of bookbinding! We will show you some basic folding structures and sewing techniques that you can use to make cute, customizable, hand-bound books to fill with all your musings, drawings, and dreams.
We are unloading our stash of favorite papers so you can make accordion fold notebooks with slipcovers and 3-hole pamphlet stitch booklets! There will be fun stamps and tools to customize your covers. And, you can make fun, free bookmarks too!!
