World Cup 2010 Finals: Soccer Festival & Jumbotron Screening | San Jose

To celebrate the final game of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, a free viewing party, presented by the City of San Jose, the San Jose Earthquakes, the San Jose Downtown Association and the San Jose Sports Authority will be in Downtown San Jose’s SoFA District.

Featuring a World Cup Final (The Netherlands vs. Spain) live broadcast on a large Jumbotron, the viewing party, taking place 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Sunday, July 11.

The event will also include activities hosted by the Earthquakes, the only professional Major League Soccer franchise in Northern California, including a player meet-and-greet, a special kids recreation area, with Earthquakes Inflatable Slide, and a fun soccer skill area, the Earthquakes Speed Kick. In addition, SoFA restaurant and entertainment venues will feature special food and beverage offerings throughout the day.
