Event Details

What does it mean to love a city that drives you crazy? Writer, poet and cultural instigator Stuart Schuffman-aka Broke-Ass Stuart-has spent two decades chronicling San Francisco’s heartbreak, magic and chaos. His new collection, “The Worst of Broke-Ass Stuart,” gathers his funniest, wildest and most unforgettable stories-from late-night Muni rides to protest marches, dive bars and political stunts.

Join Stuart in conversation with Tayler Mehit, a local literary voice with a loyal following, for an evening of laughs, sharp insights and love for a city that never stops changing.
