Yoshi’s Jazz Club SF celebrates Bay Area jazz talent with a series of free concerts in their lounge. From straight jazz to multimedia sampling, and from Bossa Nova to African jazz, this series highlights the breadth and diversity of local musicians.

Nov. 8, 2011: The African Jazz Trio
The African Jazz Trio with Loba Akou, Serge Akou, Guitarist Loba Akou and bassist Serge Akou hail from Cote D’Ivoire (West Africa). On stage, they bring traditional African rhythms and sounds together with contemporary jazz.
