With the opening of the new gallery exhibition, ¡Que Rico, Que Bueno!, the JCCSF will be hosting a free public celebration with a day of crafts, music, and food for the whole family. They will be making pinatas and papel picado; learning about printmaking and how to garnish Mexican street corn.

In between crafting, savor culinary delights from local vendors: tamales, paletas and wine, while enjoying a special Ballet Folklorico performance.

Zócalo participants:

  • Alicia’s Tamales
  • Ensambles Ballet Folklorico de San Francisco
  • Honrama Cellars

¡Qué Divertido! Fun for Everyone!

¡Que Rico, Que Bueno! focuses on the rich traditions of Mexican and Latino art and culture, from ancient to contemporary art forms, with examples of pre-Hispanic, Colonial, folk, fine and contemporary works drawn from local collections. This exhibition is a partnership between The Mexican Museum and the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco.
