The Queen of Versailles is a humorous but sobering view of the über-American dream: a family decides to build the largest and most expensive single-family house in the United States during the recent economic recession. The film regards the changing shape of the American dream, particularly with respect to home ownership and its financial and emotional costs.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

The evening will begin with a short film: Big House (Al Bayt Al Kabeer) (2014) 5 min. Directed by Musa Syeed.
