“End Of The Road” Artist Freaks Block Party & Curiosities Sale | Oakland

Come out and meet the makers and collectors of Oakland’s 5th Ave Marina, 499 Embarcadero East on from 11 am to 5 pm the first Saturday of each month in 2016-2016.

The Embarcadero Bridge will be closed for 2 years for construction. 5th Ave Marina are a thriving artistic community that is under threat of being bulldozed over for condos. But, if they are taking them out, they plan to go out with a bang.

They are freaks and welders, seamstresses, painters, bakers, architects, prop designers, tarot readers, tea enthusiasts, and more.  They have many treasures including guitars, handmade clothing, hats, vintage clothing, costumes, lamps, furniture, eco body care, records, frames, ceramics, bikes, boat related items and much more.

You’re invited to get involved. Got art to share? Bring it. Got an art car? Drive it on over.

Also visit the Cricket Engine Art Gallery, and see the wonderful community art. Fun for the whole family, and live music all day. The Window Lady hosts this event monthly at her showroom, bringing neighbors and fellow makers together to represent the 5th Ave Marina.
