Astronaut Class: How Not to Go Crazy in Space | SFJoin Dr. Nick Kanas for a presentation exploring psychiatric and interpersonal issues that can affect astronauts in space.

UCSF Professor of Psychiatry Nick Kanas has studied such issues for more than 15 years as a NASA-funded principal investigator. He will review important psychosocial issues, describe his research with astronauts and cosmonauts who have flown on the Mir and International Space Stations, and discuss countermeasures that will improve the psychological well-being of future space travelers.
