Event Details

Doug McConnell, environmental advocate and former host of Bay Area Backroads, will lead a discussion about the Bay Area’s environmental legacy and the uncertainties ahead.

He will put the spotlight on the two crown jewel trails that ring the Bay. The Bay and Ridge trails have been growing on parallel tracks along shorelines and ridge lines for more than 20 years.

They lead us into the heart of nature, into our past and towards our future. They’re becoming what some thought would be impossible….paths that entirely circumnavigate and connect the region and its communities.

Free, but an RSVP is required.
