Event Details

Join hundreds of other Bernie supporters from throughout the Bay Area and watch the first Democratic Debate together in Michaan’s spectacular 400 seat art-deco theater on Alameda Point.

Emcee for the evening will be Josh Kornbluth, a monologuist, filmmaker, and occasional talk-show host who lives in Berkeley with his wife and son. His latest movie, Love & Taxes, should be coming soon to a theater near you.

There will also be a live musical performance before the debate begins by the singing group “Occupella” .

Doors will open at 5 pm. If you register through this page, they will hold a seat for you until 5:45pm. At 5:45pm, we will invite those without reservations to fill any remaining seats.

The televised debate is anticipated to begin at 6 pm. The event is being sponsored by Bay Area for Bernie.
