See Bay Area students in action! Spark Discovery Day is an opportunity to discover the creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship of San Francisco Bay Area’s middle school youth. The science fair-style event is open to the public. In attendance will be over 800 people representing all aspects of the Bay Area community. Come enjoy food trucks and raffle prizes too.
Join Spark, a national nonprofit youth mentoring organization, as it celebrates the achievements of more than 200 students and recognizes the dedication of more than 250 mentors at Discovery Day.
Visit Justin Herman Plaza and hear students teach back what they’ve learned working with professionals at companies including Adobe, Cisco, Salesforce and many more.
Come to learn about their new business ideas, marvel at the robots they’ve built, and so much more. This day not only showcases the untapped and unbridled talent of young people, it highlights the incredible impact mentors can make in the life of a student.
