Charlie Chaplin Days: 50¢ Silent Film Festival & Lookalike Contest | Fremont
The Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum presents a weekend dedicated to the inimitable Charlie Chaplin on June 1-2, 2013.
Activities will be spilling out onto Niles Boulevard between F and I streets. View one and two-reel movies that were actually filmed in the Niles and view Charlie Chaplin exhibits on display at the Fremont Art Association. Look out for Charlie Chaplin impersonators (especially on Sunday) walking around town. There’ll also be penny carnival games, such as a Bean Bag Toss and High Striker.
